Musician's Biographies

Samantha May – Violin

Samantha May holds her Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance from Case Western University and her Masters in Violin Performance from DePaul University in Chicago. As well as being a member of the Skyline String Quartet, Samantha is a former member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, teaches private violin lessons, and teaches orchestra at West Chicago Middle School

Janine Bohlman – Violin

Janine Bohlman holds her Bachelors of Music Education from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. As well as being a member of the Skyline String Quartet, Janine teaches General Music and Orchestra in Lake Forest, IL and runs the Bohlman String Studio in Wheaton, IL.

Lee Wilkinson – Viola

Lee Wilkinson graduated from Oberlin Conservatory of Music with a degree in Viola Performance. As well as being a member of the Skyline String Quartet, Lee has been a member of several professional orchestras including Shreveport and East Texas Symphonies. He currently performs with the Elmhurst and Ashland Symphony Orchestras.

Ruth Mudge – Cello

Ruth Mudge received her Bachelors of Art in Cello Performance from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. She has also received her Masters of Art in Cello Performance from DePaul University in Chicago. As well As performing with the Skyline String Quartet, Ruth also teaches private cello lessons and performs in the Chicago area.
